Hi! I’m Sarah Lorenzi and am the current president of LGNN. Our house is crazy town lately with three kids in remote learning, my husband and I both working from home, and a 100 pound, 1-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Rocco up in everyone’s business. I taught third grade in Oak Park for 13 years and then took over my dad’s 44 year old non- profit for special education and at-risk students 5 years ago. I love thunderstorms, sushi, country music and 90s rap. On any given day, you might find me reading some deep, spiritual book or watching some high quality reality show on Bravo.
Oh.....and fun fact- I like to have babies on March 2.
Since moving to La Grange in 2016, Jennifer McElroy has been an active member of LGNN, serving on the Sunshine Committee, Membership Committee and 2 years as President before her current positionn as Vice President. With a full house of amazing kids, one fabulous dog, and a wonderful husband, LGNN's ladies nights out have been a Godsend. This school year, Jennifer and her husband, Kevin, opted for remote learning for all the kids. With Kevin also remote working, their home has been transformed into a conglomeration of classrooms and workrooms. Jennifer is so grateful for LGNN and the incredible women she has met through the organization.

I have a strong love for La Grange - from the historic homes, to the bustling business district, and of course the amazing community. I am a real estate agent with @properties here in the Western Suburbs and I love helping people find not just the perfect home, but also the right town. I am a Barre3 finatic, I enjoy cooking and am an adventurous eater and grew up on the beach in IN, so I am a beach bum at heart. Fun Facts - I played golf in high school and was a costume design/sewing major in college!
Hi, my name is Kelly Walker and I am your Sunshine Chair. I've lived in this area my entire life; born and raised in Western Springs, spent some time in Indian Head Park, and now here in La Grange. My husband and I have been together since we were 18 years old, and we are lucky enough to have an amazing and sweet son, Declan. I work as a Realtor with @ properties and love being involved in the community. If you ever find yourself needing a meal train or a little boost- or know a fellow member in need- let me know, we love to spread the Sunshine!
My name is Laurie Waldeck and this is my 2nd year as co-chair of the Social Committee. I moved to La Grange in August of 2016 and found LGNN 3 years ago. I am in my 17th year as wife to my forever crush, Justin and the proud mother of three daughters, Aubrie (13), Lydia (11) & Quinn (8) and 45 house plants. I love the character and community feel of La Grange and wish I gave in to moving here sooner. We love going to the restaurants and the movie theater as a family and I can't get enough of the cocktails at Lucca's or the antiques at Jackson Square Mall and Whisper Me Home. I am thrilled to be an LGNN committee chair again & I love being a part of an organization that helps people feel welcome and included in such a wonderful community.
Katy Cherne left the Big City and moved to La Grange about 8 years ago. She loves to travel, watch live music, & explore constructs of beauty - whether it's the latest in fonts, fashion, cars, or scientific ideas. Despite being fairly academic at times, she is also one for a big laugh, as she was part of Second City Improv while living in Chicago. Nowadays, she owns Design Inside, an interior design firm that helps residential and commercial clients with designing and building their dreams. Katy lives in La Grange with her husband and 8 year old boy/girl twins.
Hi! I'm Debra Reid and I am the Ladies & Littles Chair. I have a husband, Brian, and two kids, Marshall (6) and Sydney (4). I have been a member of LGNN since 2015 and have met some of my closest friends through the group. I have been a regular at the Friday Play Cafe sessions and have attended pretty much any other type of activity that has been offered from Gourmet to Book Club to Wine Down Wednesdays. I stay at home with my kids and love to find fun activities for us to do like visiting the local libraries, exploring at the Arboretum, or going on bike rides. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, gardening, baking, yoga, tennis, and hanging out with friends.
Hi, my name is Lauren Reynolds, and I'm the Charity and Service chair for LGNN. I have a hubby of 8 years, Matt, two little ladies, Madison and Avery, and a rambunctious 1 year old black lab, Scout (special talent: chewing shoes and digging). I'm currently Mom/CEO of the Reynolds household, though I have a doctorate in Occupational Therapy that I plan to use again in the near future - OT for life! I'm a St. Louis native - yes, a huge Cardinals fan, love the Cubs rivalry! Our family has city/country-hopped throughout the years (Ireland, Atlanta, Philadelphia), and fell in love with the Western Springs and La Grange communities. You can usually find me taking a family walk into town or to a nearby park, hanging at the zoo or the pool, reading on the porch, running (at times peacefully alone, usually after my kids!), or channeling endless kid energy into Go Fish, art or handstand contests using my former college gymnastics skills (ISU Go!).
Hi! I'm Heidi Long, and I'm the new LGNN Book Club Chair! I live in La Grange Park as a stay at home mom to my two kids, Jillian, 3 1/2, and Jack, 20 months. I love a good thriller book, but binge watching a TV show is how I really like to unwind or spend any "me" time I can sneak in. I joined LGNN in January 2019 as a New Year's resolution to meet more people in the area. I love socializing with LGNN Members, so if we haven't met yet, I hope we meet soon!
Hi, my name is Wendy Rudolph! I am the Wellness chair and Social Media chair for LGNN. I’m a 5th grade teacher at a charter school in the city. I am the queen of fb marketplace and have found so many treasures for my home- I like a bargain! My main talent is that I can hear a song and know what year it was created- willing to challenge anyone!

Kelley Malay has lived in La Grange for 16 years, and has been a member of LGNN since 2012. She has served on many different committees over the years, but she has found her “home” with the ladies of the LGNN Gourmet Club. Not surprisingly, cooking is one of her favorite things to do. Her other favorite thing to do is travel. Kelley is the owner of Royal Journey Travel in La Grange, and the post-Covid plan is to work with LGNN in establishing a Travel Committee to plan group trips for our members. Kelley lives in La Grange with her husband and two boys, ages 11 and 13.
