LGNN Book Club

The LaGrange Neighbors and Newcomers Book Club is a casual group of LGNN members who enjoy reading in their spare time.  Before Covid, members would take turns hosting book club in their homes. Since March 2020, we've continued to meet once a month via Zoom or  in someone's backyard with snacks and drinks when the weather cooperates.

During our meetings, we enjoy socializing and discussing that month's book.  We also determine what book the book we will read in the upcoming months.  Members are invited to suggest books, and we try our best to pick books with a shorter library wait time, so we usually pick books that have been published at least a year ago.

Books we've read recently include: The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett.

Join us! Come every month or just when a book sounds interesting.  All are welcome. You don't even need to finish the book, but spoilers are shared.  We hope to see you soon!
