Get your porch ready for the holidays! Margo Baird, our resident florist, is going to teach us how to make holiday porch pot arrangements. Some examples similar to what we'll be making are shown below.
Margo will provide the materials needed for the pots. $75 includes instruction, three-3 foot Birch branches, 3 large Pinecones, 2 branches of red Berries, 1 bunch Noble fir, 1 bunch Fraser fir, 1 bunch white Pine, 1 bunch incense Cedar, 1 bunch Silver fir, one- 12 inch pot with dirt, and 1 Ribbon.
Margo will provide workspaces/tables for the class and you'll be taking your arrangement home at the end of the event. Please feel free to bring any extra items you might like to add to the porch pot, and you can also bring your own pot/container (optional) that the pot can slip into. Margo may also have some extra items for the arrangements that you can buy that day, such as large ornaments, white and red branches etc.
Be sure to dress warm as we will be working outside. It is also recommended that you bring gardening gloves. We'll have hot apple cider and guests are welcome to bring other drinks and snacks!
